SYNOPSIS
When Annie, aged six, finds herself lost in 'the plaza', a place isolated between heaven and earth, an old man called George appears to help... But it's Annie's joy of life and natural curiosity that makes her explore the space where she finds reminders of George's life.

A bookcase of George's books; a workshop with a music box; a film projector room, ready to show images; everything is there to help George realise he must take the final steps to freedom.

As Annie returns to life on earth, George watches film images of his lover on the beach. As the film plays, George takes the final difficult steps from limbo to heaven: he walks from 'the plaza' and into the cinema screen. By letting go of his past, George embraces his future. He runs happily down the beach with his lover and out of view.
