ENFANT TERRIBLE

By Kevin Scrantz

LOGLINE
His life scandalized a nation. His words seduced a generation. The short, wild ride of Raymond Radiguet, the James Dean of French writers.

SYNOPSIS
In the artistic whirlwind of 1920's Paris, teenager Raymond Radiguet, a prodigy burning with a passion to make his fortune as a writer, is seduced by avant-garde prophet Jean Cocteau into a beguiling game of intrigues with an inner circle that includes Picasso, Modigliani, and designer Coco Chanel.

Raymond's first novel scandalizes a nation, seduces a generation, and dooms his relationship with Cocteau when he tries to break free of his mentor's domination through a series of liaisons with women and an orgiastic life of partying.

His frantic dance with the devil ends in a tragedy that dooms Cocteau to a life of regret and elevates Raymond to the status of legend.
