ENTARA ANNOUNCES THE SUCCESS OF THOSE SCURVY RASCALS ON NICKELODEON

Those Scurvy Rascals ranks #4 show on NickToons in UK

Entara Ltd, the global entertainment rights company, is proud to announce the success of their high-quality animated children's television CGI series, Those Scurvy Rascals, on NickToons. Following its broadcast launch on 28 May 2007, the award-winning show ranked #4 over the half-term period in the UK.

Those Scurvy Rascals aired on NickToons over the May half term between 08:30 and 08:45 and averaged 0.36 TVR, 3.4% share among kids' aged 4-15 years. 120,000 kids' aged between 4-15 years watched Those Scurvy Rascals over this half term period, reaching an average of 23,000 each time it was aired and the slot improved by +1.3 share pts (+61%) in comparison to the last half-term. The worldwide multi-platform rights to Those Scurvy Rascals were acquired by Nickelodeon and NickToons Network (US) from Entara at the beginning of 2007 and include on-air, online and digital mobile. The series consists of 26 x 3.5 minute episodes.

Those Scurvy Rascals also received excellent ratings results in Australia on its 4.55pm slot on ABC. Amongst the total population, Those Scurvy Rascals reached 10th place amongst top 50 children's programmes among all networks. Amongst children 5 to 12 years old, it reached an impressive 53.3% total TV share with an average audience of 137,000 and amongst children aged 0-12, it reached an average audience of 206,000 people with 45.2% share. The series is now also scheduled on ABC2 Fridays at 6.25pm and on ABC on Mondays at 6am, 7.25am and 5pm and airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7.25am.

Acquired by Entara Ltd and developed by the award winning Soho based animation studio Blue-zoo, Those Scurvy Rascals is a short-form CGI animation series that follows the humorous adventures of a group of hapless pirates as they roam the high seas on an obsessive quest for pants! Already a winner of the 2006 British Animation Awards, Those Scurvy Rascals won the Best Children's Series and the Children's Choice Award and both the animation and website, www.thosescurvyrascals.com, continue to be a huge hit amongst the children and teen audiences. Plans for additional terrestrial television distribution of the animation are currently in progress and include; TV2 (Denmark), NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden), SF (Switzerland) and Teletoon (Canada).

Entara announces promotional deal with Wimpy restaurants for Those Scurvy Rascals

Entara Ltd, has announced an agreement with restaurant chain Wimpy and their latest high-quality animated children's television CGI series, Those Scurvy Rascals. Recently acquired by Nickelodeon and Nicktoons Network (US) for worldwide distribution, Entara is now proud to announce the first restaurant promotion for the award winning property which is scheduled to launch in store on 30 June 2007, for a twelve month period in all 270 Wimpy outlets across the UK.

The promotional deal will offer Wimpy customers a free Those Scurvy Rascals lucky bag with every children's meal. One million bags are being produced by Mr. Lucky Bags, the licensee, who has been working with Wimpy for over ten years, and will each contain Those Scurvy Rascals toys that are being produced exclusively for the promotion.
