'The Peeps' By Kevin Scrantz and Peter Devonald |
|
Your screenplay was great. I love the concept. VERY smart. I was drawn in. This is the cutest story! Kudos and job well done. (E.M.H) Surprisingly hysterical and an extremely enjoyable read. The character of Sandy had me in stitches. The characters are well drawn. We are immediately sucked into Chuck's world (A.H.) The Peeps is frigging brilliant. The hook--an ordinary man in an ordinary life becomes God in the Peep world--is compelling. I love its themes. (This) is a fast, entertaining read; a wonderful script with vivid, funny characters, a compelling plot, intriguing themes, awesome dialogue. I'd pay the $8.50 gladly and later buy the DVD! (L.C.W.) A hot ride, written in the usual flowing style. Define BITCH, see KRISTA. I hate her! Great description. I loved the reactions. Especially the car crash. I love Dude! (P.D.) You're quite the romantic. A nice read and a great end. All of your characters are well developed. I really like Chuck. Action is always exciting, deliberate, well paced and easy to follow..... this has been one of my all time favorite scripts. (BB.S) The writing is about as expert as it gets, has a great flow to it and all the scenes are in perfect order with never a dead spot anywhere. The characterizations were well drawn out, and I liked the two different relationships with Krista and Chuck, and Joanna and Chuck. Hilarious, very interesting, and well worth the read. (R.R.) Wow! Great job! It was different. Very imaginative. Very subtle subtext a wonderful story. If this were to ever get made it'd be a friggin blockbuster... I can see it now, a PEEPS Happy Meal. "Mommy, I want Dude the pissing pug!" (R.D.M.) Really unique and original. The writing is great. Vivid, succinct, clear. An easy, entertaining read. Loved Chuck. Your characters, dialog, your painting of the world -- these were all so compelling and interesting. Great characterizations, great specifics. (L.E.T.) Really liked the
premise and thought a lot of the off-the-cuff character interplay was
great and a lot of the dialogue was very sly and funny. Loved Sandy. Loved
Krista. Loved Joanne's hardness and humorlessness, she was very funny.
All in all, an enjoyable script. (S.W.)
