(M.G) This is a fascinating reworking of the familiar fairy tale. It was a wonderful moment when Handsome recognized his own face. I loved the introduction of the famous dialogue from the story everyone remembers. Petal's next dialogue was a wonderful shock… Loved the image of the money on the bed. Powerful. (L.D) A lovely title. Handsome's actions from fantasy to reality is nicely accomplished. I can see his every move. I easily follow him from forest to psychiatric ward and back. and the end? oh dear yes. The fairy tales have been polluted. There are lots of symbols: There's the wolf's head, which is found on Handsome's ring (black onyx), Petal's cape (gold painted), and the old man's ring (black onyx), the same ring as Handsome's for they're the same people. There's the rabbit, which has been killed by the woodcutter. Unlike Handsome, this rabbit didn't run fast or far enough. There's the palace with its heaven's gates and its many locked doors with only one open--symbolic that there's only one way: conformity. I love your script. It's wonderful, powerful, brilliant.
