Born
and raised in the bayou country of Southwestern Louisiana, Kevin
Scrantz comes from a long line of storytellers and began selling
feature stories to newspapers while still in high school.
After
living in California and Miami, Scrantz returned to Louisiana
where he continues to work as a feature writer.
He
has optioned three screenplays, the latest being THE MEDIUM
in April and is in development.

of WorldFest Houston's Silver Award in 1995 for MARIE LAVEAU.
Nicholl
quarterfinalist for ANGEL HILL.
Made
Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope Top 3 on four occasions,
most recently with DAWN
AND THE FROG, 4444 ESPLANADE, THE MEDIUM
and ENFANT
TERRIBLE.
