REEL ISLINGTON

NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHED: PETER IS CHAIR

Reel Islington celebrates North London's wealth of filmmaking talent by showcasing short films by local filmmakers alongside award winning national films.

We present a series of screenings throughout the year including Halloween, Valentines and at the Holloway Arts Festival. We utilise a range of experimental venues (libraries, pubs, youth clubs) alongside more conventional venues (the Odeon).

Our aim is to develop links between filmmakers of all ranges, whilst showing cutting-edge films to a wider audience.

All selected films will be screened at London's Holloway Odeon and other local venues in Summer 2010.

Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English. All genres are welcome: animation, experiments, drama, fiction or anything in between.

We are particularly looking for local entries from Islington and the surrounding area - but films from anywhere are also very welcome.
