FADE IN:



            EXT.  STREET – DAY

            A bright, warm, summers day.

            KID cycles his bike down the street.  As he cycles, he
            delivers papers by throwing them over white picket fences.

            A dog – DUDE – playfully chases Kid down the street.  Kid
            giggles as he cycles in a circle to lose Dude.  

                                KID
                          (shouts)
                      Good Morning Chuck.  Dude's out again!   

            Dude follows Kid in ever increasing circles before he
            collapses on the floor in exhaustion.

                                KID
                          (shouts)
                      And you're late Chuck!   AGAIN!

            Kid cycles extra close to Dude to taunt him and smiles.

                                KID
                      See you later Dude.

            Dude sticks out an appreciative tongue.

            Kid smiles and cycles away.

            He cycles past an affluent houses and throws papers that land
            on their doorsteps.  

            Kid turns the bike around and speeds down the street.

            Dude watches and puts a playful paw over his face.



            INTERCHANGE

            Kid cycles - fast.

            A car stops and playfully toots their horn.

            It's

            XAVIER

            In his car with Ashleigh.

            Xavier looks at Ashleigh and smiles.

            Kid cycles past.

            Inside Xavier's car, Ashleigh puts her hand on the top of his
            thigh.  Xavier looks at her and smiles.

            They drive – and go past



            FIRE DEPARTMENT

            Where Krista stands next to Hank.  She rocks on her heels and
            looks at him – adoringly.  He smiles back.  They're very much
            the loving couple.

            Hank nods towards the fire engine.  Krista looks happy and
            exhilarated.  She jumps into the machine.

            The fire engine roars out of the station and speeds down the
            street.  



            FIRE ENGINE - MOVING

            Krista and Hank ride on the back – holding on to their hair
            as it blows in the wind.

            The fire engine zooms past



            DREAM FACTORY OFFICE

            In the window are newspaper pictures of Chuck and Joanna:
            with headlines – 'Dream Factory makes another wish come true'
            – 'The places where wishes are just a sentence away' and
            'Dreams Happen To You'.

            In the reflection in the window of the Office is a white
            DOVE, who eats from the pavement.

            The Dove flies –



            SKY

            Dove flies majestically.  The whole town is viewed from
            above.  The dove is majestic as it flies against the perfect
            blue sky.

            The Dove stops – flutters in mid air – and is joined by a
            flock of doves.

            The doves all do a massive shit.

            Doves look around and appear to smile.



            RECLAMATION WORKS CAR PARK

            Xavier parks the car and he and Ashleigh get out and look
            around.

            Ashleigh brings out her umbrella and puts it up.  

            Xavier frowns and looks at her – confused.  He looks up to
            the sky –

            PERFECT BLUE

            He looks at Ashleigh – who giggles.

            Then it happens –

            SHIT SMOTHERS THEM

            Xavier is covered in it.  All the rest of the shit hits
            Ashleigh's umbrella and ricochets onto Xavier.

            Ashleigh falls around, laughing.



            RECLAMATION WORKS OFFICE

            Sandy watches them from her huge office, high up.  She wears
            glasses, has a severe brunette haircut and wears black from
            head to toe: basically she looks as near to Joanna from Peeps
            One as humanly possible.

            Sandy stifles a giggle as she watches the shit cover Xavier.

            She turns and looks longingly at the photo of Chuck that
            stands on the desk.

            She sighs –

            INT.  CHUCK AND JOANNA'S HOUSE – JUMP CUT

            Alarm sounds.

            Chuck turns the alarm off, but keeps his eyes closed.  

            He smiles – contentedly.  Joanna lies beside him.
